What methods of shipping are available to me as a customer?
Diversified Systems uses several major ground and air carriers. UPS, Federal Express, and Bax Global are main carriers that make regularly scheduled pick-ups every day. We will also be happy to make arrangements for special pick-ups using a customer preferred carrier when requested. In the Seattle area, we make use of several local couriers for same day delivery. Your customer service representative will work with you to make sure that we choose the appropriate carrier who will be able to deliver your order in a timely fashion and at a reasonable price.
Once my order is ready for shipment, when can I expect to receive it?
This depends on several factors. Diversified Systems will most likely be shipping your order from our main facility which is located in Redmond, Washington. Normal ground shipment times to the East Coast and some southern locations require up to 5 working days. Most mid-western and central locations require 3-4 working days for ground delivery. Western and southwestern destinations will take anywhere from 1-3 days for ground delivery. Diversified Systems also offers 3-day, 2-day, and overnight service via any of our carriers. Please make certain your customer service representative is aware of any deadlines so that we can plan shipments accordingly.
How do you protect my order from damage that may result during shipping?
Diversified Systems recognizes the need to adequately prepare your order for shipment. We realize that our products are sometimes fragile and may require special packaging and delivery instructions. Your order will be carefully packaged in appropriately sized cartons. If required, double boxing and the use of double wall constructed packaging goods will be utilized. Individual boxes will be clearly marked for contents and will indicate the total number of boxes in each shipment. You should open each of the boxes in your shipment to check for any damage that may have occurred during transit. Diversified Systems will insure every shipment for replacement value unless instructed otherwise by the client. If you detect a problem with your shipment, please contact your customer service representative immediately.
Will I be billed for shipping?
In most instances the answer is yes. Diversified Systems will generally prepay all shipping costs and add that amount to your invoice. We have experience with many carriers and will work with you to ensure that your shipping costs are kept to a minimum without sacrificing service and delivery.
I have an account with one of your carriers. Can you just bill my shipping to that account?
Certainly. Just provide your customer service representative with the account number prior to shipping and we’ll take care of the rest.
How late can you fill an order?
Orders received by 1:00PM PST time generally will ship the same day if the items requested are in stock. While we can’t guarantee that your order will ship on the same day, we will make every effort to meet this goal where possible.
How do I determine the shipping charges on my order?
Diversified Systems will be happy to provide you a shipping estimate for any order. We work with several carriers to provide the best cost and delivery schedule available. Shipping charges will be prepaid and added to your invoice unless otherwise indicated.
Can I return or exchange my order?
If there is a problem with an order, please contact your customer service representative to discuss your situation. We’ll work closely with you to make sure that your order problems get corrected to your satisfaction.
