Private Label

What is private labeling?

Private labeling is a fabulous way for Diversified Systems' customers to increase the value of their optical media(CD-R, DVD-R, BD-R) usage. Custom printed optical media from Diversified Systems helps to promote your business, enhance brand awareness, provide for clear and consistent data labeling, and elevate the professional image of your business without significantly increasing cost. If you are using optical media for day to day business activities, let us show you how the quality of our work can make a difference for you and your clients.

What products can you private label?

Diversified private label users are primarily interested in custom printed CD-R, DVD-R, and BD-R media. In addition, we provide a complete selection of custom printed inserts, covers, sleeves, wallets and mailers to complement the use of pre-printed media, further enhancing the professional look and feel of the products and services our customers offer their clients.

What are the printing options that you offer for private labeling?

Diversified has several, distinctly different, printing techniques that we employ for private labeling. If you are looking for full color, short run printing(less than 1,000 units), our UV digital process offers exceptional print quality(600+ DPI) at very attractive prices. We also provide, direct to disc, offset printing for full color images. Offset is the print technology you will see on most replicated CD, DVD and Blu-Ray titles purchased through retail outlets. Offset print quality is really quite remarkable. While not as cost effective for shorter runs, we highly recommend considering offset printing for full color runs above 1,000 units. If you need PMS(spot) color printing, we'll recommend using one of our 6-color silk-screen presses to do your job. Silk-screening is essential for true PMS color matching and like offset printing for full color images, provides extremely cost effective printing for larger volume runs. Printed pieces that compliment private label media are produced using in-house digital capabilities, or for larger runs, printed using standard offset technology. In all cases, Diversified takes great care to ensure that customer artwork is printed using the process best suited for the job at hand, and that which is most cost effective.

What is the process for providing artwork for private labeling?

Artwork templates for optical media and supporting private label printed pieces (inserts, covers, sleeves and mailer) can be found on our website. We ask that you prepare your artwork using the templates provided and send the artwork to us electronically with your order. Make sure you provide images of high resolution (300+ DPI), include all necessary fonts (or convert to paths), and save your files without flattening layers. Gather all artwork files into a single folder, compress them into a single zip or sit file and electronically upload them to us using the Upload link displayed on all web pages. If you need assistance at any point in the design of your artwork, please contact our graphics department for help. We have years of experience and are eager to share with our customers what we have found works best.
